As 30 faculty members of the Department of Agriculture Biotechnology devoted their endless effort to develop the consortium, six-year annual grant amounting 2.2 million USD is supported by the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology since 2006.

The ABC (Agricultural-forestry Bioresources Convergence) Center is based on the Department of Agricultural, Foresty and Bioresources, which includes about 40 professors, integrating five majors (Crop Science and Biotechnology, Horticultural Science and Biotechnology, Forest Environmental Science, Environmental Materials Science, and Biosystems Engineering) that have developed throughout its long history.

It aims to break the framework of nurturing specialized professions such as crops, gardening, forestry, pregnant engineering, and natural fibers, train creative talents who lead the convergence of biological resources beyond the walls of majors, and set specific innovation goals for green bio-industry. The 토토 사이트 커뮤니티 Center provides students with advanced training in an interdisciplinary program consisting of the agricultural sectors of engineering, science, education, and economy by integrating new sciences that underpin the 4th Industrial Revolution, such as artificial intelligence (AI), robotics,
Big Data, and the Internet of Things (IoT), into traditional agricultural sciences.
With its convergence major ranging from Agriculture Science and Engineering to Humanities and Sociology, beginning from September in 2020, the Global Smart Farm Educational 토토 사이트 커뮤니티 Center has 20 faculty members whose majors are crop science, precision agriculture, agricultural machinery, agricultural environment, agricultural economy, and education, and about 50 graduate students who enrolled in the M.S. and Ph.D. programs in the convergence major of global smart farm at Seoul National University.
