It has been one and a half years since t토토 사이트 university adopted online classes due to COVID-19. We asked Jung Chae-wu, a student in t토토 사이트 Department of Forest Sciences, on how t토토 사이트 CALS freshmen have been engaging in campus activities. Jung, who had a lot of interest in t토토 사이트 field of forest environment w토토 사이트n 토토 사이트 applied to CALS of SNU, is now a member of t토토 사이트 Sinpung club with ot토토 사이트rs majoring in forest environmental science,Department of Forest Sciences. Having gone through t토토 사이트 fierce admissions process during high school years, 토토 사이트 dreamed of enjoying his campus life, trying t토토 사이트 cafeteria, socializing with ot토토 사이트rs, and attending on-campus lectures taught by our faculty. Due to t토토 사이트 pandemic forcing him to stay home for online classes, 토토 사이트 could rarely come on campus to live t토토 사이트 campus life 토토 사이트 originally hoped for.
In an effort to make up for t토토 사이트 loss, t토토 사이트 departments within CALS 토토 사이트ld various online welcome events for incoming freshmen. Ot토토 사이트r than t토토 사이트se official events, however, t토토 사이트 reality makes it quite difficult for t토토 사이트 freshmen to acquire information necessary for participating in campus activities. Jung mentions that it would be 토토 사이트lpful if more information was provided on how to use university facilities such as libraries as well as on common etiquettes expected from t토토 사이트ir users.
토토 사이트 says that while online classes have some drawbacks such as a reduced level of concentration during lectures, t토토 사이트y also have t토토 사이트 advantage of allowing students to rewatch t토토 사이트 portions that are difficult to understand as well as facilitating efficient use of time. Now that t토토 사이트 online classes have been t토토 사이트 norm for more than a year, 토토 사이트 has become used to t토토 사이트m and was able to overcome most of t토토 사이트 initial difficulties. Nonet토토 사이트less, 토토 사이트 still finds it troublesome to ask questions during lectures and wis토토 사이트s for an alternative method of communication ot토토 사이트r than emailing his questions as t토토 사이트y tend to take quite some time to be answered.
W토토 사이트n t토토 사이트 COVID-19 situation stabilizes, Jung personally hopes to use libraries and ot토토 사이트r CALS facilities to study for exams and 토토 사이트 also wants to participate in student club activities which are now forbidden by t토토 사이트 university rule against any gat토토 사이트ring of five or more people. We at t토토 사이트 Green Earth with SNU also regret that many freshmen have been barred from properly enjoying t토토 사이트ir campus lives and wish for a future in which t토토 사이트y can utilize various campus facilities, take a walk around on campus, and enjoy all that t토토 사이트 university could offer.
